JFC cuts $6.75 million in GPR funding for UW medical programs

The Board of Regents would be on the hook for $6.75 million next biennium from its program revenue appropriation to fund initiatives at the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center and UW's medical school, under a provision passed Thursday night by the budget committee. (WHN, 5/28)
