Walker signs budget, vetoes smoking surcharge

Governor Scott Walker signed into law last Sunday a budget expanding Medicaid for adults below the poverty line, while kicking off nearly 90,000 making more than that. Walker expects that these people will gain coverage under the state's federally run health insurance exchange and that his plan will increase the number of insured individuals by over 224,000.
