On the Record with Kathleen Falk, Region V Director, Department of Health and Human Services

Health and Human Services Region V Director Kathleen Falk painted a rosy picture of the first days of enrollment in health insurance exchanges, highlighting the high number of visits to Healthcare.gov and calling early bumps an expected part of the process. Falk said 4.7 million people visited the federal site during the first 24 hours, but the administration has so far refused to say how many have successfully signed up. As of Thursday, consumers across the state were still struggling to get through. (WHN, 10/4)
