DHS delays processing applications

The Department of Health Services is delaying converting to a uniform system of determining Medicaid eligibility required by the federal health reform law called Modified Adjusted Gross Income, a spokesperson confirmed Tuesday. The state was expected to start processing applications under the new system Monday, Nov. 18. (WHN, 11/20)
