DHS leads overhaul of state's dementia care delivery system

When talking to other states about Wisconsin's plan to overhaul its dementia care delivery system, Department of Health Services Secretary Kitty Rhoades received contradicting responses. "The feedback I got was that Wisconsin will once again step away and lead the reform, or you are going to go down in flames," Rhoades said. "I told the stakeholders, I prefer the former."
