OCI panel recommends approval of Physicians Plus acquisition
Insurance Commissioner Ted Nickel should approve UnityPoint Health's acquisition of Physicians Plus, an OCI panel recommended Wednesday. The panel also said that the public hearing process was not the venue to address Unity Health Plan's concern that the acquisition will cause confusion in the marketplace because of the similar name.
