Behavioral screening and intervention program offers alternative to traditional workplace wellness

Steepening healthcare costs and federal incentives have pushed business leaders in Wisconsin and elsewhere to develop employee workplace wellness programs recently, but the mixed success rate of these efforts raise questions over whether they are worth the investment, according to Dr. Richard Brown, clinical director of the Wisconsin Initiative to Promote Healthy Lifestyles.
