Assembly committee advances bill to treat seizure disorders with marijuana extract

The Assembly Committee on Children and Families voted 7-1 Wednesday to advance the bipartisan legislation allowing a physician or pharmacy to dispense cannabidiol extract oil, a non-psychoactive component of marijuana, for treating seizure disorders. (WHN, 2/27)
