Assembly ends session by passing amended oral chemo therapy coverage bill

In the chamber's final scheduled floor period this legislative session, the Assembly approved an amended bill requiring insurers either provide coverage parity for oral and intravenous forms of chemotherapy or charge patients no more than $100 in monthly co-pays for treatment in pill form.
