DHS: Medicaid budget back in balance

The state's Medicaid budget is, basically, back in balance, Department of Health Services Secretary Kitty Rhoades said in a letter to the Joint Finance Committee Tuesday. The department needs to trim costs by $0.7 million in state funds by the end of the biennium, down from a $93 million gap predicted in June. (WHN, 10/1)
