Kind introduces bill to repeal medical device tax
U.S. Reps. Ron Kind, D-La Crosse, and Erik Paulsen, R-Minn., introduced a bill to the House Wednesday that would repeal the 2.3 percent excise tax applied to the sale of medical devices. The tax is part of the federal health reform law, and the legislation has more than 250 bipartisan cosponsors. (WHN, 1/8)
