Bill allowing pharmacy students to vaccinate children heads to Walker

A bill that would allow pharmacy students to vaccinate children is headed to Gov. Scott Walker’s desk after passing the Assembly Wednesday.

The Senate approved the proposal last month. The bill allows pharmacy students to vaccinate children as young as six if they receive appropriate training and under a pharmacist’s supervision.
