UnityPoint Health notifies patients after security breach
UnityPoint Health, which owns Meriter Hospital in Madison, is notifying patients after a cybersecurity incident may have exposed the information of 16,000 patients. The health system isn’t aware of identify fraud or theft or inappropriate access to the system’s electronic health record system, a spokeswoman said Friday.
