Budget helps with dementia, but more support needed for long-term care workers, says advocate
This week lawmakers kicked off the first hearings on Gov. Tony Evers’ budget. Janet Zander, advocacy and public policy coordinator at the Greater Wisconsin Agency on Aging Resources, praised the budget for putting more resources toward dementia and Medicaid.
