Evers calls on Legislature to amend budget
Gov. Tony Evers called on the Legislature Thursday to amend the budget passed by the Joint Finance Committee and include, among other things, an expansion of Medicaid that he says could save the state $324.5 million and draw down more than $1 billion in new federal funding.
