UW think tank researchers revise down projected costs of Medicaid expansion
A new report from a University of Wisconsin think tank says Medicaid expansion would lead to "substantially smaller costs" than one of its reports previously estimated. But a pair of UW economists continue to dispute the cost projection, saying the best available evidence suggests that Medicaid expansion leads to savings in the private insurance market.
