DHS: 712 more COVID-19 cases, seven more deaths
There were 712 additional cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin reported Wednesday, bringing the total to 44,847 confirmed cases since the disease first appeared in the state.
Seven additional deaths brought the total to 865. The Department of Health Services tweeted that one death was incorrectly reported on Tuesday.
DHS reported 14,780 new test results, with a 4.8 percent positive rate.
According to Wisconsin Hospital Association data, there were 354 total COVID-19 patients, a decline of 13 from Tuesday. There were 101 COVID-19 patients in intensive care units, a decline of nine.
