DHS: 507 more cases of COVID-19

There were 507 more confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported Monday in Wisconsin, bringing the total in the state to 61,061.

There were 8,167 more people tested, with 7,660 having negative tests, for a total of 1,062,463 tested in the state so far.

There was one additional death for a total of 998 in the state.

The seven-day average of new cases per day is 819, and the seven-day positivity rate is 6 percent.

There were 414 COVID-19 patients in Wisconsin hospitals as of Monday afternoon, a single-day increase of 62.

Of those, 119 were in intensive care units, a single-day increase of 21, according to the Wisconsin Hospital Association.
