DHS: 478 new cases of COVID-19, five more deaths

There were 478 additional cases of COVID-19 reported in Wisconsin on Wednesday, bringing the total to 62,263.

Five more deaths were reported, for a total of 1,011.

There were 9,924 more people tested, for a total of 1,085,986. Of those newly tested, 9,446 had negative results.

According to the data, 4.8 percent of new test results reported Wednesday were positive.

The seven-day positivity rate is 6.3 percent. The seven-day average of new daily cases is 760.
