DHS: 1,762 new COVID-19 cases, eight more deaths

The Department of Health Services reported 1,762 more COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin on Wednesday, bringing the total to 105,932.

There were eight more deaths, for a total of 1,259.

An additional 13,453 people were tested, for a total of 1,466,115. The positivity rate was 13.1 percent.

The seven-day positivity rate was 16.9 percent, and the seven-day average number of new daily cases was 1,889.
