Memos: Evers’ capacity limits in effect, but will likely need legislative approval if challenged
Gov. Tony Evers’ administration’s capacity limits for indoor public gatherings will remain in effect unless a court blocks them, and the Department of Health Services will likely have to submit them to the Legislature for approval if a court follows the reasoning of the Supreme Court’s ruling earlier this year, according to a pair of recent memos from the Legislative Reference Bureau.
