Wisconsin sets new records for COVID-19 cases, deaths, hospitalizations
Wisconsin set records on Tuesday for daily new COVID-19 cases, deaths and hospitalizations.
There were 3,279 new COVID-19 cases reported, for a total 155,471.
An additional 34 deaths were reported, for a total 1,508.
So far, 1,712,425 people have been tested, an increase of 14,541.
The seven-day average for daily new cases was 2,727.
As of Monday, the seven-day positivity rate per person was 19.6 percent, the seven-day positivity rate per test was 10.1 percent.
Wisconsin set a new high with 959 COVID-19 patients in Wisconsin hospitals on Tuesday, an increase of nine from Monday and up 106 from the same point last week.
A record-setting 243 COVID-19 patients were in intensive care units, an increase of three and up 27 from last week, according to the Wisconsin Hospital Association.
