DHS: 4,360 new COVID-19 cases, 17 more deaths

The Department of Health Services reported 4,360 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, for a total of 271,770.

Seventeen more deaths brought the death toll to 2,329.

The seven-day average for daily new cases was 5,639. The seven-day average for new daily deaths was 40.

There were 14,077 more people tested, for a total of 2,198,288.

According to DHS, 59,088 cases were active.

As of Sunday, the seven-day positivity rate by person was 35 percent, and the seven-day positivity rate by test was 17.5 percent.

There were four patients at the surge facility in West Allis on Monday morning.
