Wisconsin surpasses 400,000 COVID-19 cases

Total Wisconsin COVID-19 cases surpassed 400,000 on Friday.

There were 4,847 new cases, for a total of 404,555.

Sixty-three more people died. The death toll is 3,625.

An additional 15,197 were tested. So far, 2,584,875 Wisconsinites have been tested.

The Department of Health Services considers 63,202 cases active.

The seven-day average for daily new cases is 4,102. The seven-day average for daily new deaths is 53.

As of Thursday, the seven-day average positivity rate by person was 32.7 percent. By test, it was 14.2 percent.

There were nine COVID-19 patients at the surge facility in West Allis as of Friday morning.
