DHS: 3,235 new COVID-19 cases, 60 more deaths

Health officials reported 3,235 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, for a total of 451,676.

Sixty more deaths brought the death toll to 4,315.

So far, 2,732,806 Wisconsinites have been tested, up 10,429 from Thursday.

DHS considers 38,892 cases active.

The seven-day average for daily new cases is 3,102, down 526 from last week. The seven-day average for daily new deaths is 46, down 6 from last week.

As of Thursday, the seven-day average positivity rate by person was 27.6 percent, a drop of 0.7 percent from last week. By test, the rate was 10 percent, a decline of 1.2 percent.

There were eight patients at the surge facility in West Allis as of Friday morning.
