DHS: 513 new COVID-19 cases, one more death
The Department of Health Services reported 513 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, for a total of 605,376.
The state’s death toll remains at 6,954, after DHS reported one more death.
An additional 4,138 Wisconsinites have been tested for COVID-19, for a total of 3,503,761.
DHS considers 7,478 cases active.
The seven-day average for daily new cases is 444, down 21 from Thursday and 144 from a week ago.
The seven-day average for daily new deaths is 10, down one from Thursday and up one from a week ago.
As of Thursday, the seven-day positivity rate by test was 3 percent, the same as Wednesday and down 0.2 percentage points from a week ago, per preliminary data from DHS.

Per state data, 44.9 percent of the state’s population, or 2,616,859 Wisconsinites, have received at least one dose of a vaccine, and 38.9 percent, or 2,263,607 Wisconsinites, have completed their vaccination series.
They gave 28,393 doses on Thursday, with a seven-day average of 22,792 daily shots.
