Evers says he’ll veto plan to bar gender-affirming care for kids 
Gov. Tony Evers indicated Wednesday that he would veto a recently proposed bill by a trio of Republican lawmakers that would bar gender-affirming care for those under the age of 18. The bill is opposed by healthcare providers who warn that it could push people away from the care they need.
