DHS submits request to expand Medicaid coverage of inpatient psychiatric hospital stays
The Department of Health Services submitted a request in mid-December to the federal government to expand Medicaid coverage of short-term inpatient psychiatric hospital stays, according to a Friday letter sent to the Legislature’s budget-writing committee.
