NIH director affirms commitment to biomedical research, after ‘bumpy’ start
President Donald Trump’s administration is committed to supporting biomedical research, National Institutes of Health Director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya said Friday in Milwaukee. But he acknowledged a “bumpy” transition as the administration took the reins of the world’s largest public funder of biomedical research.
