State law provides immunity to 911 dispatchers for mental health call transfers
Gov Tony Evers on Friday signed into law a bill that will ensure that 911 call centers and dispatchers are generally immune from civil liability for outcomes that result from transferring a caller to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
