Family planning clinics face state and federal cuts
La Crosse area low-income women could lose services if proposals by federal and state lawmakers are successful in eliminating or cutting funding for family planning clinics. Gov. Scott Walker’s budget proposal to eliminate all family planning funding for low-income residents also could jeopardize federal dollars for pregnancy prevention. (LA CROSSE TRIBUNE, 3/10)
