Mobile dental clinic turns its focus to prevention

Joy, a first-grader at Leopold Elementary School, got protective sealants on two of her teeth recently in the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, a rolling dental clinic parked outside the school. The clinic, serving southcentral Wisconsin since 2003, has a new mission. Instead of providing only fillings and extractions, it now offers sealants and fluoride varnish, which help prevent cavities.
