State returns more than $163,000 to Aurora

The state treasurer returned $163,330 to Aurora Health Care after the Milwaukee hospital system made overpayments to the Wisconsin Healthcare Liability Plan on behalf of employees. Aurora provider paid the premiums for 150 doctors into that fund. The return was sent on Monday, along with dozens of other returns totaling $461,479 — one of the largest amounts of money ever returned to Wisconsin residents and corporations in state history.
