DHS: 404 more cases of COVID-19, one additional death

The Department of Health Services reported 404 more cases of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the state’s total to 55,328.

There was one additional death, for a total of 949.

Overall, 7,173 test results were reported. The daily positivity rate was 5.6 percent.

The average daily cases confirmed over the past week is 844.

As of Monday afternoon, there were 345 COVID-19 patients in Wisconsin hospitals, a decline of nine from Sunday, according to Wisconsin Hospital Association data. There were 120 in intensive care units, an increase of 10.
