Wisconsin’s COVID-19 trends continue to improve 

COVID-19 hospitalizations and case counts are on the decline in Wisconsin.

There were 1,251 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in the state on Monday, down 20 from Sunday and 328 from a week ago.

, 232 patients were in intensive care units, down 42 from Sunday and 86 from a week ago.

The seven-day average for daily new confirmed COVID-19 cases was 3,363, down 2,575 from a week ago. The Department of Health Services reported 1,305 new confirmed cases in its Monday update.

The seven-day average for daily probable cases was 434.

There have been 1,356,072 confirmed cases and 186,679 probable ones.

DHS reported two confirmed deaths. There have been 11,387 confirmed deaths and 1,282 probable ones. The seven-day average is 19 daily new deaths.

Per DHS data, 63.4 percent of residents have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and 59.6 percent are fully vaccinated.

They’ve given 1,886,915 booster shots, for a seven-day daily average of 2,705 daily doses.
