New laws boost penalties for hurting healthcare workers, continue hospital-at-home program
Gov. Tony Evers on Wednesday signed into law bills that will increase penalties for assaulting or threatening healthcare providers and continue a program established during the pandemic that allows health systems to provide hospital care at patients’ homes.
