DHS reviews proposed rule on Medicaid coverage of anti-obesity drugs
The Department of Health Services is reviewing a federal rule proposed last week that would require Medicaid to cover anti-obesity drugs. According to a recent analysis, Wisconsin’s Medicaid program is one of 13 Medicaid programs nationwide that already covers the medications for treating obesity.
