A growing number of healthcare providers and payers are promoting healthy food to prevent, treat and manage disease. But good nutrition isn’t accessible to all, including some communities who could benefit the most. Funding, limited vendors and a lack of provider training are among the obstacles standing in the way.

Wisconsin Health News is assembling a virtual panel of experts to outline what’s driving the food is medicine movement and discuss what’s next.

Panelists:

  • Tara Draeger, Director of Community Health and Health Equity, Aspirus Health
  • Kathy Koshgarian, CEO, Food for Health
  • Tony Mollica, CEO, iCare
  • Rachel Roller, CEO, Dohmen Company Foundation
  • David Sametz, Chief Business Development and Marketing Officer, Sifter
