Rural healthcare in Wisconsin is at a crossroads. Medicaid revenue is expected to plummet in the coming years because of the federal government’s tax-and-spending bill, OB-GYN deserts are widening and provider shortages persist.

What does this mean for the future of care in Wisconsin’s less populated regions? How will the state set up a new federal fund for rural health and how do providers want to use the money?
