MCW, Dr. Doug Evans and Elizabeth Krzywda, win BizTimes 2015 Health Care Hero Awards

Milwaukee, Wis. – The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) will receive a 2015 Health Care Hero Award in the Corporate Achievement in Health Care category from BizTimes Milwaukee. The Health Care Hero awards salute the impact and accomplishments of people and organizations making a positive difference in the community on the front lines of health care.

Other MCW award winners include Douglas B. Evans, MD, the Donald C. Ausman Family Foundation Professor of Surgery and chair of the department of surgery, and Elizabeth Krzywda, RN, MSN, APNP, division of surgical oncology. Dr. Evans and Krzywda have been recognized by their patients and peers for exemplary work in their respective fields.

Winners will be recognized at a breakfast ceremony on Friday, December 11 at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, 1721 W. Canal St., in Milwaukee from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Melinda Davenport, co-anchor at WISN 12 News This Morning will emcee the event and introduce the winners.
