National publication highlights Sacred Heart Hospital as top place to work

CEO Steve Ronstrom also featured in column on Imagining the Future

Eau Claire, WI – Sacred Heart Hospital was recently featured as one of the best places to work in healthcare. Becker’s Hospital Review announced their 2011 top 100 list which was developed through nominations and research. The organizations were selected for their demonstrated excellence in providing a work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development and quality patient care.

The list focused on organizations that consisted of hospitals, health systems, surgery centers and large physician practices. All healthcare organizations that were placed on the list underwent a substantial review with peers and through the publication’s own research.

“This truly is an honor, and we believe it is important to encourage teamwork, and recognize and reward our colleagues for their dedication to patient care and our mission,” said Faye Deich, Chief Operating Officer at Sacred Heart Hospital.

In addition, Steve Ronstrom, CEO of Sacred Heart Hospital and president of Hospital Sisters Health System’s western Wisconsin division, was featured in the publication. The bi-monthly column, featuring Ronstrom, discussed the importance of hospitals engaging with the community and using their input when planning the future.
