Business health group's costs lower than average

Health care premiums for member employers of the Business Health Care Group are 13 percent below the average premium costs for southeast Wisconsin, according to a new study by Milliman based on 2009 medical and pharmacy claims. (MILWAUKEE BUSINESS JOURNAL, 10/26)

State bill would decrease training for school nurses, staff giving meds

Local school officials are concerned about a state bill that would decrease training requirements for school nurses and for school staff who give students medication. The state Senate will vote on the bill today. It is expected to pass and move on to the Assembly, according to legislators’ staffers. (RACINE JOURNAL TIMES, 10/25)
