STEVENS POINT, Wis., August 9, 2012 – Delta Dental of Wisconsin has donated $100,000 to HealthNet of Rock County’s dental clinic to defray operating costs and help the clinic provide primary dental care to the uninsured and low-income residents of Rock County.

“We are the only volunteer-based clinic providing a dental home for this ever-increasing population at no cost,” said Jean Randles, HealthNet’s executive director. “This donation will help us fulfill our mission. We are grateful to Delta Dental for continuing this long-standing partnership.”

“Delta Dental of Wisconsin’s mission is to expand access to quality dental care for Wisconsin residents,” said Dennis Peterson, Delta Dental’s executive vice president. “While we do this primarily by offering low-cost dental-benefit programs to Wisconsin businesses, Delta Dental also funds many charitable oral-health initiatives, such as HealthNet of Rock County. We are pleased to be able to continue our support of HealthNet, and we applaud their efforts to improve the oral health of Rock County residents.”
