WHA one of 21 state groups fighting "Bay State boondoggle"

The Wisconsin Hospital Association is working with 20 other state hospital associations to fight an obscure provision in the federal health reform law that benefits Massachusetts hospitals at the expense of hospitals in Wisconsin and most other states. Badger state hospitals are set to lose $9.4 million a year due to a modification of Medicare's reimbursement formulas. (WHN, 1/16)
