Dentists plan to bring back non-covered services bill

Dentists plan to again pursue legislation this session that would prohibit insurance companies from setting fees for services they don't cover. They say the current practice forces providers to shift costs to patients with no insurance or drop out of an insurer's network. Insurers oppose the proposal and say disallowing it would drive up costs for consumers. (WHN, 2/19)
