Ministry Saint Clare’s Celebrates Truven Top 100 Hospital Designation
(Weston, WI) – Staff, volunteers and board members from Ministry Saint Clare’s Hospital in Weston joined together to celebrate the facilities recognition as a Top 100 Hospital by Truven Health Analytics, a leading provider of information and solutions to improve the cost and quality of healthcare.
During a recognition event held in the Breadbasket Atrium on Thursday, May 2, Truven Client Executive Annette Reyes outlined results from the Truven 100 Top Hospitals® study which evaluates performance in 10 areas.
Among the highlights, Ministry Saint Clare’s produced the highest score in the country in the category of Community Size Hospitals of 99-beds or less. The results were at the 90th percentile or above in all areas and were equal to or better than the other 20 community sized hospitals that qualified for the Truven Top 100 list.
“Ministry Saint Clare’s produced outstanding results in all areas of the survey and should be considered a model for facilities throughout the country,” said Reyes.
To conduct the 100 Top Hospitals study, Truven Health researchers evaluated nearly 3,000 short-term, acute care, non-federal hospitals. They used public information — Medicare cost reports, Medicare Provider Analysis and Review (MedPAR) data, core measures and patient satisfaction data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Hospital Compare website. Hospitals do not apply, and winners do not pay to market this honor.
“This is a team honor that would not be possible without the efforts of everyone within our organization,” said Ministry Saint Clare’s President Mary Krueger.
