WHIO to receive Medicare data

The Wisconsin Health Information Organization will be able to receive Medicare claims data after being approved as a qualified entity and will likely publish the data in the late spring or early summer 2014. (WHN, 9/3)

State exam for chiropractors dropped, but bar on national exam raised

The Wisconsin State Journal's David Wahlberg reports: "Gov. Scott Walker dropped the requirement in June. But Walker, at the [Wisconsin Chiropractic] Association's request, added new requirements for the national exam, setting a higher bar for passing two of its four parts than in any other state." (WISCONSIN STATE JOURNAL, 9/3)
