ThedaCare adopts new brand identity that reflects patient-focused experience, unites ThedaCare system

Initiative Signifies Market Position and Role as Community Health Partner

ThedaCare™, northeastern Wisconsin’s largest healthcare system and the first in the state to be part of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, today introduced a new brand identity that more closely ties its seven hospitals, physician clinics and specialty practices together while emphasizing its commitment to providing patient-centered care as a community healthcare partner.

“As the healthcare industry constantly changes and evolves, we have remained focused on our patients and how we can make their healthcare experience even better,” said Dean Gruner, MD, ThedaCare president and CEO. “Our new initiative celebrates the compassion and relentless drive that sets ThedaCare apart. Whether they are at the hospital in New London, a physician’s office in Neenah, a home healthcare setting in Shawano or anywhere else throughout our system, we want our communities to feel secure in knowing that ThedaCare is always there as their healthcare partner. Our commitment and our culture center around offering the right services at the right times with highly competent providers and specialty partners.”

Rollout of the new brand identity will begin next week at ThedaCare Medical Center-New London and ThedaCare Physicians-New London. The first work that will be seen is an updated logo that features the “ThedaCare” name in bold black lettering beneath four colorful, interlocking hearts. The heart has been part of ThedaCare’s visual identity for many years; the updated mark continues to provide easy recognition while underscoring the importance of care and caring, love and connection.

“Our rebranding will provide a consistent patient-focused experience among all ThedaCare centers, and it is driven by our promise that ThedaCare will never be satisfied with the status quo,” Dr. Gruner said. “We are constantly striving to partner with others – to achieve a new level of ‘better’ for the benefit of our customers and communities.”

The remaining ThedaCare facilities will begin rolling out the new brand in the spring of 2015, culminating with the completion of the new ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano in fall 2015.

ThedaCare is working with Laughlin Constable of Milwaukee to develop its new brand and Pull in California in the creation of the logo.
