Joan Coffman receives 2015 Wisconsin ACHE Regent Senior Executive Award
Chippewa Falls, WI – Joan Coffman, president and CEO of HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital, and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), was awarded the 2015 Wisconsin ACHE Regent Senior Executive Award today at the ACHE-WI 2015 Annual Conference in Elkhart Lake, WI. Coffman joined St. Joseph’s Hospital in 2008 as chief operating officer and was named president and CEO in April 2010.
American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) is an organization with more than 40,000 healthcare leaders from around the world who are dedicated to improving healthcare delivery. Coffman currently serves as a board member of the ACHE – Wisconsin Chapter. She also serves on the Rural Hospital Issues Group of the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy and was recently appointed to the Governing Council of the American Hospital Association Section for Small or Rural Hospitals. She serves as a board member for the United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley, the Chippewa Family Support Center, and the Chippewa Valley Technical College Foundation. Coffman received the 2014 Partners of Wisconsin Hospital Association’s “Best of the Best Administrative Award,” presented annually to a leader demonstrating supportive and cooperative relationships with volunteer organizations.
