464 Medical College of Wisconsin doctors recognized as Best Doctors in America®
(Milwaukee, WI) – A total of 464 Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) faculty physicians, representing 40 specialties and 400 subspecialties, are listed on the Best Doctors in America® list for 2015-2016. The information, compiled by Best Doctors, Inc., includes more physicians from MCW than any other group practice or institution in Wisconsin.
MCW physicians account for 45 percent of the 1,021 Wisconsin physicians listed as Best Doctors. More Best Doctors practice at MCW’s major teaching hospital affiliates, Froedtert Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, than at any other hospitals in the state.
The database lists 338 MCW physicians who have privileges at Froedtert Hospital, and 145 faculty physicians with privileges at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. About the Medical College of Wisconsin
The Medical College of Wisconsin is the state’s only private medical school and health sciences graduate school. Founded in 1893, it is dedicated to leadership and excellence in education, patient care, research and community engagement. More than 1,200 students are enrolled in MCW’s medical school and graduate school programs in Milwaukee, and 26 medical students are enrolled at MCW-Green Bay.
